| The team as a whole did well today given Mac's crazy selections. Ablett was awsome makes you wonder what his best position is. Has Smudger ever played 7 before? thought he did ok especially 2nd half.
As a whole the pack went well after the early bout of dropsies and dominated later in the game giving the backs the freedom to score some brilliant tries.
How good was Webbs pass for Zac's 2nd worth the entry money alone.
On a side note we were sat talking to a few london fans in the oak before the game, I was amazed by their passion and commitment, and also their knowledge of the game. Some people in these parts should take note ehh Mr Swiftcorn!!

I thought Singleton performed admirably for his début.

BJB looked great, not sure who said he needed a rest.

Agree re Webb's pass worth the attendance money simply brilliant as was Ryan Hall his catching above his head was stunning today - felt a bit sorry for O'Callaghan tough day at the office

He got a game last year didn't he?
Also think Burrow looked dangerous from DH because we got some quick PTBs from the forwards.
Having Bailey at LF isn't all that odd considering how LFs are being used more like a third prop. Admittedly it's not ideal but not as odd as I first thought it was when I saw the team.

I wasn't going to mention it but as others already have:
Singleton's 1st grade debut was on the 11th March 2011 in the comfortable home win V Salford.

| I thought Lee Smith had his best game in a rhinos shirt for some time
crap opposition etc, etc, but still, looked sharper and more involved, a bit more like the pre-union Smith

| I thought our defence was very good for the most part. London may not be the best opposition but our poor ball control ensured we had plenty of defending to do in our own 20 and we looked solid.
Singleton looked a willing runner and it would good to see him get another chance. Peacock played a long spell and that may have been due to Griffin getting injured early on but it would have been nice if Singleton had played a longer spell. I thought Smith did ok considering he was playing out of position, especially in the 2nd half. Ablett was excellent and there cannot be many sides who have a better 3rd choice/backup centre.

| A green stripe on my fixture list, optimistic comments on here (apart from good old Keith) I hope Bradford was this seasons version of Catalan last year and that we have bottomed out and are on the way back up

| IIRC he didn't get a great deal of game-time on his debut either.

That was me mate but to put it into context i thought Chisolm deserved a chance for his cracking form in the u20's and that if any of Hall or Bjb were to drop out then i said it should be Bjb after seeing the team struggle for the last 3 matches.
I'll also add Smithy put Hall and Bjb in for tries in the 1st half so was more involved than he's got credit for in that time imo.

37727.jpg And last but not least, to all those people that wrote this team off, to all those people that criticized this team...tonight's for you, thank you.
I'll tell you this now, of all the sportsmen I have ever seen, this guy is the most impressive. Clare Balding 6/10/12:37727.jpg |

Maybe because he looks completely different, he must have grown 2 inches in height, and is starting to fill out nicely..i thought he looked way too small on his debut, but have definately revised that opinion.

Singleton got just the twenty minutes spread across two spells according to the match report filed in the YEP online:
