I think the best ever Rhinos player is certainly fair. I will go slightly further and say he's the best player Leeds RLFC or Rhinos have had in the time I've been watching, since the end of the 1980s. We possibly had more gifted players in that time, but none who have achieved so much in the blue and amber.

Having seen and a great admirer of lewis Jones plus all the others to many to mention and remember. on second thoughts will name a few of my favourites, John Holmes, Micky Shoebottom, Barry Seabourne, Barry Simms, Bob Haigh, Ray Batten, Sid Hynes, Jamie Peacock, D Mcguire. Marvellous how the old memory comes back when you start to put a few names down. All great players in their own positions and down to everyones opinion,but Kev deserves to be recognised for his achievments
