| Sadly, I think you have to be a total kn8b to get any honour from Buckingham Palace - Jonathan Davies MBE, Ray French MBE, Martin Offiah MBE. Kevin Sinfield just doesnt fit with them. He is knowledgeable, speaks well and articulately and is a top bloke. Nah - no gongs for Kevin I am afraid given the apparent selection criteria.

| I've seen John Holmes, Les Dyl, Eric Grothe (briefly), ET, Gary Schofield, Iestyn Harris and Kevin Sinfield over the years in a Leeds shirt. I'm a lucky man.
In 30 years they'll be talking about Sinny in the same way they talk about Arthur Clues, John Holmes, Eric Harris and Lewis Jones.
Now FFS get Burrow and McGuire at 6 and 7 and move him back to 13 and let's start winning some big games.

| Amazed Dave Heron missed your illustrious list of Leeds greats. He'd be on mine.
__________
Kevin Sinfield still has more records to chase down - highest scoring SL player (SL Regular Rounds and Play Offs only) should be next on the list and club marks a plenty still to set.
Deserves all and whatever accolades are coming his way from club and fans alike.

| I think the best ever Rhinos player is certainly fair. I will go slightly further and say he's the best player Leeds RLFC or Rhinos have had in the time I've been watching, since the end of the 1980s. We possibly had more gifted players in that time, but none who have achieved so much in the blue and amber.

Or any other medals offered by the ruling classes? If he did, he'd have to question his own commitment to his principles.

| MBE, OBE and CBE do NOT entitle you to call yourself a 'Sir', for that he would have to be knighted, which obviously he won't be.

| doesn't need any medals, surely will go down as the best captain leeds have produced. Having seen and a great admirer of lewis Jones plus all the others to many to mention and remember. on second thoughts will name a few of my favourites, John Holmes, Micky Shoebottom, Barry Seabourne, Barry Simms, Bob Haigh, Ray Batten, Sid Hynes, Jamie Peacock, D Mcguire. Marvellous how the old memory comes back when you start to put a few names down. All great players in their own positions and down to everyones opinion, but Kev deserves to be recognised for his achievments

| Just give the Man a Statue Outside Headingley in the Pose of Kicking a Conversion.
I think that would be a more fitting tribute to Sinny.
