Mid-season "test" against a hotch potch of overseas NRL rejects more like. At least that'd be a more accurate moniker to help describe a fixture that definitely should not be recognised as a bona fide international "test".

Hence why I also used quotation marks. All Stars was just used because I watch too much American sport

On that note, it would be fairly similar to a Barbarians match in "the other code" wouldn't it? I might be wrong, but I don't think players get a test cap for those games. The League equivalent might be a decent idea from a marketing perspective, and give the England side a match together against at least Super League standard opposition, but I think the same rules could apply.

Heaven forbid this team of "NRL rejects" beats England, mind you it would rid us of Keith, death by self flagellation is something you just don't see enough anymore.

You know its bound to happen. As it goes though, the question is how many players will we miss through this and injuries?
