| Quote rhinoms="rhinoms"Some reasonable suggestions Juan but Abbo at Prop??
No offence mate he'd get murdered and as bad as Kirke has been lomger minutes there MAY see him replicate his Hull performance which imo was good comsidering the injuries etc etc.'"
I know its not ideal! But Abblet is a big lad and if he followed Buderus on his shoulder I think he could make some metres and he will put in the tackles. We are scrapping the barrel at prop but this is a game to see what the reserves can do.
How long is Burgess going to be out?

No idea mate no time-frame has been specified as yet.
I see yer point re-Abbo and his impact but imo that's more running out wide and if it means shifting Hauraki ,Ali or blooding the youngsters then i'd prefer that option tbh.

Singleton is an England u16/u18 prop who was supposed to play against the aussies but had to pull out with a broken wrist i think. And i think he was 18th man against Harlequins also been playing well for u20s.

Who beat you at your place 2 seasons ago and very nearly did last season aswell! Anyway, if we play like we did against Wigan, given your injury list, I think we'd be in with a good chance of getting the 2 points.

| All the experienced forwards need to lift their games. The pack as a whole has done naff all so far - Hull apart - even with most of our first choice props.

| Good point about the pack BR, compare our current pack with that of Widnes in the late 80's, or even Leeds under Murray. I fully understand that we have got players to come back, but even then we don't have a real Enforcer type, which leads me to believe that opposition teams take our pack lightly (if you pardon the pun).
One of the best memories I have of the Murray era was the letter we received from Red Hall telling us we were being "too rough" with the opposition, and they didn't like it. What would I give for a return to that style of forward play in defence now...

Half of our first choice props have been missing the entire season.

| What's wrong with playing kids?
I would rather see a couple of kids promoted for the props positions and lose, than see out of form players like Ali and Hauraki, who are not deserving of their places at the moment, playing out of position just to fill a gap.

I wholeheartedly agree. Kirke and probably Senior should step aside.
Would rather Smith at FB and Jones-Bishop covering r.centre though....Watkins at left centre of course. Leaves us short of a winger I know but again surely we have a kid that could be promoted ? Hardaker ?
Obviously our biggest problem is the pack and I would like to see Sinfield back there... with Webb at half back. If there are concerns about his tackling ability drop him too and get another kid in.
No Ambler ( stupid decision ) means I would DEF "blood" the two kids. Maybe start with Pitts as one of the props. Anything is better than Kirke.... And you never know these kids could be the finds of the season in this ... what many believe ( myself included ) should be a ... " tranisitional " year.
