Like you said doesn't paper over the cracks but there are still some positives although not as many as there could be.

After that really poor showing in the first half, its a positive we only conceded two points in the second half, our goal line defence especially needs sorting, the defence for leo-latus and jefferies tries especially was shocking!

Iain Kirke really played well today, he was a go to man for long periods, also thought JP put in his usually huge effort, also thought ambler and clarkson showed up well.

I thought we looked better in attack after Burrow went off.

No, as I said above it was satisfying, and yes I am bitter. When I watch you surrender to hudds, who are one of our rivals for a top 4 spot, but then play like your lives depend on it against leeds.

I reckon Kear saw this game when MM fixtures were announced and thought, ''leeds, neutral venue MM it'll be like a cup game, i'll ave that!

A team like wakefield can only play at that level every so often because it takes so much build up, effort and preperation. They choose to do it against leeds.

It would be the equivalent of leeds trying to play at grand final level every week.

If we don't get our indiscipline sorted it will cost us dear come play off time.

Just how hard is it, when you know that you are the dummy runner, know that the ball is not coming your way, and all you have to do is run the angle, how hard is it to simply avoid running into an opposition player and giving a needless penalty away? Last week it was JJB, this week Kirke, and both cost us tries. Bluey needs to have a word.... it's not f'kin rocket science!

In the end though, despite not playing at the top of our game, we showed great team spirit and a fair measure of skill to overcome a determined Wakie outfit
