This is a scenario not unlike the early parts of last season. Some sublime attacking play when we click and some ordinary defence - especially on the goaline. There were a few shoot outs last year. Things tightened up later in the season as the focus grew towards the business end, the difference this year is that we can't afford to be slack and drop too many more points. We have to tighten up now, not in July. I'm sure Bluey is aware of this, but it's still a warning to the rest of SL that we can go out and stick nearly 50 on Hull.

I think that happened after trying to tackle Smith early on in the game.
FWIW I came away dissapointed with our defence.
Hull I feel may take some positives out of this game considering they will have 3 or 4 better players to draft into their team.

I still think we have the CC as our main target this year.
Lets face it we wont win the hubcap or finish in the top 2.
So a top 5 finish and the CC are realistically all we can hope for.

Winning 1 trophy out of the main 2 available would be classed as a good season definately imo.

The 5 out of 6 points we have recently picked up gets us back in the race. And a top 2/3 finish is still not out of the question.

There's plenty of games for wins and form to be won and lost for every team!

Let's back the boys and have faith in a team that has been faultless in coming away with the ultimate prize for the last 3 seasons. They know where they need to be in terms of performance and execution and that is still in reach IMO.
