Amor won't spend much time at Leeds next year, if any.

He's somewhere between 5th and 7th for four prop spots in the 17, competing with Pitts and Ambler IMO. Let him go to Whitehaven and concentrate on training/playing for them for the year unless we hit major front row injury problems.

Having him shuttling backwards and forwards between the two clubs, working on different patterns of play and systems under different coaches won't do him much good at this stage in his development.

When the deal was announced, it said Amor was moving to Leeds with his partner and giving up his job to train full time with Leeds.

I doubt he would do that to stay training with Whitehaven.

So he's going to train every day at Leeds, then two or three times a week drive up to Haven and train again on an evening?

Recipe for disaster IMO.

Why?

I think the players have all afternoon free after training. It shouldn't be a hardship for him.

I also doubt Haven will require him for all sessions. They certainly won't be able to give him the fitness and strength training he can get with us. Just the moves and what not and its' not like he's a half back.

Assuming the training at Leeds is pitched at a level of intensity designed to achieve maximum results, how is that going to be affected by him adding a further two or three sessions a week plus the travelling involved? I'd guess it wouldn't be a positive.
