Ask most on here and they'll agree with me saying he was turning into a very very good prospect just before his injury so you obviously know alot less than you claim to, which is hardly surprising given the one-sided guff you've come out with while the game was on earlier.

He did start at centre for us tonight

Gibson is going to be a good centre and I hope he continues his progress after losing a season and a half through major injury. IIRC he was keeping Toopi out of the centre birth just before he did his knee.

He will come good again and I hope he is kept on at Leeds whilst he continues to get back up to full speed and fitness.

If needed at Right Centre for the rest of the season he will do a solid job but that's it, He is the best candidate to finish the season in that role should anything happen to Lee Smith but i don't feel he has a future here personally and doesn't offer the team anything attacking wise...

Always thought Ratu was a better prospect than Gibson, but he appears to be even further down the pecking order.

Gibson was decent, but you only have to look at the performance of Donald so far this year to see that we are lacking a quality centre.

if Smith leaves then yes, if Smith stays then he'll be a strong reserve and i'd take him over Ablett all season long.

No true that was one game and you cannot keep harping back to days gone by. At some point he has to be judged on the here and now.

Someone at the Rhinos obviously thinks he is still going to be good enough and, on tonights evidence, I thought he did well and kept Watuira largely quiet.

I guess time will tell!
