The break that indeed led to McGuire being ankle tapped was from JJB.

Hall's lengthy break led to him running out of gas at half way and being caught on the outside by Dick Van Dyke. I don't need statistics to tell me that in the same situation Donald would've been grounding the ball beneath the sticks.

So between Halls break and interception, that may account for a large chunk of his metres gained over Donald (and the fact he was kicked to more).

It may be that Donald was told to stay out on his wing more to cover for the inexperience of Watkins rather than to come in and look for work.
Re the pass/interception to Hall, it was a good job he came in to make the interception. Had he not, my recollection is that they had at least a 2 man overlap so could well have gone in for a score of their own.
I think we're lucky to have Donald, Hall and Smith as our wingers all bring something different and complementary to the table.
