| I reckon Handley will end up on the wing again under Furner

Dont think his game translates well to the wing, pretty lightweight and not fast enough or elusive enough to make up for it imo.

I do get where you are coming from but on the flip side he is good under a high ball, should position well from kicks etc.. given FB skills and assume he would be outside hurrell I'm not sure how much of a big hitter he will need to be in attack as I expect hurrell to attract the winger and centre in quite a lot so whoever is outside him will need to be good at being Johnny on the spot which I think Golding could be.
He isn't my preference but none of the existing options are which makes it really interesting.

Not seeing it tbh, dont think he's got any of the traits a modern day winger needs, he's below average in speed compared to most wingers, very lightweight when bringing the ball out of his own end and never shown an ability to get over the try line.

Not sure where I heard it from but I’m sure Golding is the fastest in the side! Don’t know whether that’s a good or a bad thing..

| Bit of a strange one in the Golding/Walker debate.
Golding is faster than Walker and has slightly more strength bringing the ball out from defence.
He is better on a one to one when defending than Walker.
Maybe his positioning is weaker than Walker.
He can cover at hooker yet Walker gets the nod.
I still don't get it.
Oh and his hair is longer!

Walker gets the nod because he is the better player, I do like Golding and I don’t think we should let him leave but he’s not in the same class as Walker

Can't comment on pace as Golding rarely makes a break himself.
I really don't think Golding is stronger than walker though. Walker may be slight and could do with some bulk but even with that walker runs it back harder than Golding and at least to my eyes makes more meters doing so.
It's walker at fb all day long for me.
As for wing, it's likely between Handley and briscoe but I do think Golding oculd be a wildcard as neither of the other two are nailed on 1st teamers.

| I'd prefer the best finisher on the wing. Hurrell's not a natural passer of the ball but when he does its likely to be popped up in little space. Also depends which side Hurrell plays on as well.

| I might give Ash a run at wing, which IMO is his position. Put it this way, he’s at an age now where he needs to stand up as 1st grade quality, or be allowed to move on. Will be interesting to see which side Hurrell and Watkins play on, and whether they try switching T Briscoe now Hall has gone.

| If you're talking Hanldey, Golding and L.Briscoe, isn't Briscoe the best finisher of those three? WRT Handley I tend to think his future looks a bit bleak with the arrival of Hurrell, as he's not an out-and-out winger. Its definitely up to whichever of them gets the nod to grab their chances though. As with other juniors, whilst we can criticize BM or whoever for some not developing, in the end they need to be demand to be picked by playing well when they get a game.
