| Quote: christopher "Totally disagree on Momirosvki, he is a different style of player to Nene.
You don’t play in the teams he has by being a dud, he won’t be the explosive runner that nene is but he is a clever RL with great defensive awareness, it’s no coincidence that Ash is having his best ever season playing next to him.
Nene macdonald is a great player but he’s unreliable and has left every club under a cloud, a lot of the rebuild is about culture and a player like momirosvki os a key part to that , same as Frawley to be honest.'"
I hope to be proved wrong on both players. I don’t think Momirosvki has played much of a part in Handleys tries. Maybe one where he passed to him.
There is still some chaff to be cut from the squad, and I think we are still 3 quality players short of a great side. A back and 2 forwards. Defo missing a quality replacement/ backup for Fusitua and a couple of hard running forwards.
I know as the pitches form up we should get better but you have to be good in all weathers.

Better off keeping Sezer? Dear me. Frawley's doing OK for my money. He's doing practically all the field kicking and could probably do with a little help in that regard from the likes if Miller and Croft, just to make it less predictable for the chasers. His distribution is smooth (markedly better than either Austin or Sezer's) and he's been quietly effective at taking on the line. The try against Leigh was very good. I'm certainly not going to stick the boot in him after 5 games, especially considering what went before.

Its the partnership that has helped handley, how they defend and attack together. I bet if you asked Ash hed credit Mom.
The squad was never going to fixed in one off season and I don’t think even the most miserable of Leeds fans can say we recruited badly in the off season.
Your talking mg as if we've been bad in the rubbish weather, we haven’t far from it.

Ill judge him in a Leeds shirt not what he’s done before. If you think Sezer was good in a Leeds shirt if really question your judgement of a player TBH.
Frawley has been fine, he’s doing the job he’s been signed to do. Our completion rates so far (bar saints game) have been far hight than the last few years and that’s partly down to Frawley making sure he’s in the correct place at tge correct time, Sezer very rarely did that as he would drift in and out of games.

I agree Arthur.
He's going OK.
Everyone is judging him on his kicking, which has been really poor (including 2 out on the full).
But his passing is crisp and his defence looks reasonably solid.
He certainly gets more involved than Sezer ever did.
And the try against Leigh was classy.
He's not a superstar, but he was never signed as that.
An improvement on Sezer for me.

Hes no world beater but I think given how little Sezar offered and how much will have been used to pay/ sign Croft, Ackers, Miller, Mom and upgrade Newman etc it's not surprising.
By the end of his deal Sinfield etc will hopefully be looking more prepared to take over'"
I actually like parts of Frawley’s game; but I’m not sold on the “he wasn’t the only one” argument I’ve heard a couple of times recently. A Leeds #7 should be a really strong player in his own right, able to turn matches. I haven’t given up on Frawley like I said he has qualities; but he has to be finding better kicks out of hand if he’s going to be our main field kicker.

Problem is that most of our competitors in the top half of the table will get better on firmer grounds too.

A poor man's Lee Briers then who by the way of talent was streets ahead of Frawley and is doing the same as a coach and he's British.

The problem on here is some are over critical whilst others get a bit carried away , so far I can see a little in Frawley that will see him as far more consistent than Seizer whilst less talented , Mom has disappointed me so far but I am happy to give him time , he does seem to lack pace though .

We hear this ‘we’ll be ok on firmer grounds’ things a lot. Heard it last season. Were we? We need to perform now or we’ll be out of CC.

And we might win on Friday. You’re talking as if we’re playing like Hull FC.
Last two years weve had the worst possible draws in the first round of the CC if we lose it’s hardly like getting knocked out by Bradford

You need to get yourself to a game, Shabs. You went last season as I recall, and came away waxing lyrical about Sezer and Austin. Might help restore the faith that one televised match has so obviously obliterated. Another defeat and you'll be starting a "bring back Zak" petition.

we’d be a better team with Zak, Watkins, Hall in it now! Add Parcell off bench
