Sam Tomkins plays Rugby League, well! His scoring rate is frankly phenomenal.

If he decides to roll around like Anders Limpar looking for penalties, then it's up to the opposition to be aware of and wise to that. If they aren't, then that's they're bad. It's just a part of his game.

He doesn't need to be liked, he doesn't need to be appreciated by anyone outside of Wigan. Personally I have an issue with his antics, but I find him to be the most exciting player in SL with bal in hand, and he tackles like a trojan.

Boo him, not a chance, I haven't booed anyone since I booed Audley "Pantomime Villain" Pennant at Tattersfield in the CC. And even then it was because he was playing up to the role.

I don't like people booing players at internationals simply if they are from other clubs. Its that mentality that helps keep international league small-time.

International RL will always be small time until such a time as there are more than three teams who have not been artificially constructed in order to try and fool the news media that there are more than three genuine and competitive national RL teams in the world.
