| The criticism of JJB is beyond belief frankly, and completely unwarranted. Fair enough, you might not like him as a pundit, but has anyone in recent years championed the club or been more loyal?
I dare say if he looked and spoke a different way he wouldn't get half the criticism he does.
As for experience, he's been on the board of directors for the last couple of years, has held numerous sporting and other roles within the club, and has a fantastic and experienced team around him. I'm not saying it will work out perfectly, but that's far more experience than many peers and I wish him all the best.
I also find the comments regarding the club being stagnant strange. I think we too often associate the success of the first team with the success of the clubs. Has anyone been to the stadium recently? Or read the articles about record breaking commercial partnerships. Aside from on field performances, the clubs probably never been stronger, thanks to GH and Caddick's leadership. Let's hope JJB continues in the same vein.

| Jack Burton:
JJB has as much experience as the likes of Radlinski, Fitzpatrick and Myler.
By the sounds of it, Caddick's daughter and Rob Oates will be dealing with most of the business side of things.
Radlinski has been an exec at Wigan since 2010 and only became a CEO in 2023. JJB didn't retire from playing until 2019 so he's almost 10 years behind in experience rather than having "as much".

| According to published figures, Rhinos TO is only £12m pa. That makes it a small to medium enterprise. This isnt Apple or Microsoft and he does have experience in the business world. I wish him all te luck in the world and if he has half the success thet GH has had it will be considered a wonderful tenure. Rhino Till I Die

I mentioned the club being stagnant. Let me ask: when were you last excited by a raft of young talent rising through the ranks? For me it's a heck of a lot longer ago than the 2017 GF success that some seem to still see as "recent" success. Takes 5 hours for me to get to/from HQ so quite often I fall into my seat without really taking in the stadium, the game day experience, whatever. The atmospheres often muted and the performance variable executed by tryers, who, although not lacking effort, are realistically unlikely to challenge for honours. Probably different for locals but it really is an effort and has been for some time.

| A lot of people on this forum get periodically annoyed with GH, with his annual emails, fact-finding trips to Australia, jobs for the boys appointments etc.
What was JJB's answer when pushed about why Leeds aren't punching their weight in SL? Some jibberish about expanding pathways into sport, or the transformative power of sport in society... Maybe he should become a local councillor or MP instead?

| My concern with JJB is the constant looking over his shoulder at the team he played in and the culture of the club at that time.
That was a unique time with a concentration of real quality players and like the Leeds Utd team of Bremner and Giles can never be replicated.
Times move on and businesses that look backwards go backwards. Will he recruit players in his own image i.e. big hearted triers rather than real quality individuals.
Promoting Rob Oates is a great move - his ability to fill the corporate despite the poor level of entertainment on offer is a stroke of genius.

| Seth:
Im not convinced the aspirations for the team on the field matches the corporate aspirations of the club.
It was BS then and it's BS now. If you've ever actually encountered anyone at Leeds then you know how much winning means to them.

Jeez I have no idea what experience JJB has to get the job as CEO. He struggles to do what he does now let alone be trusted with such a responsible job. Even Sinfield struggled at that level and I would argue he has more about him than JJB. Advertise the job first and see what`s out there.
I think Sir Kev though he couldn't do the job justice so walked away.JJB must think he's up to the job otherwise he would have turned the job down. JJB must think he can do the job otherwise he would have walked away. Time will tell.
