| Overall it would have to be Senior and Godden. Both were pivotal to the success of their teams (admittedly Godden only did two years).
Quite a few players who made an impact during their time at the club: Tonie Carroll, Richie Blackmore, Kevin Iro
Dean Bell (second stint) > Paul Bell (unlucky guy)
I agree with Bullseye's assessment of Innes - looked classy but never really turned up. Same applies to Chev Walker.

Think it was a shame Walker didn't stay. He was still only 23 when he left and he really could've added to us and himself in that 07-09 spell and we may have pipped Saints to some of those LLS as his replacement in Toopi never really produced considering he was playing in such a strong team. I imagine a number of times when October came round in the years after he left he regretted his decision.

| If Tony Currie had played for Leeds for as long as Senior did he would be the number 1 for me. An absolutely amazing player in both attack and defence. However he only played for 2 mini seasons so hard to include him.
Senior was fantastic and Schoey was an all time great as his international record shows.
Godden was really good centre pure class. The try at Wigan off his knees to seal the win at Central Park was a never to be forgotten moment.

This may be my dodgy memory, but wasn't that the same game Cassidy elbowed Moz? One of my favourite ever league (non play-off/cup/final) games, the atmosphere was unbelievable.

look up 'Wigan v Leeds - August 1998' on youtube. There are brief highlights. Also, look up 'Morley Cassidy' to see one of the most disgraceful challenges you'll ever witness.

In the interests of balance, some background perspective is required here.
rlMorley had earlier belted Robbie McCormack in the head with a swinging armrl.
He was sent off in a Test Match against the Aussies for less when he forearmed Robbie Kearns.
rlCassidy's forearm in the same fixture was retributionrl.
Not that I was complaining one bit at the time and I'm still not complaining
Probably the best and most memorable SL fixture I can recall throughout the entirety of the SL era.
At least UFC 207 is on BT Sport tonight - can't wait.

Morleys hit on McCornack was from kick off. From behind a right arm swinger.
