I was there for that too. He's tapped.
That was the time when they had Rufus 'hidden' in a giant egg in the middle of the pitch for the whole prematch build up, then he was to pop out and surprise everyone. Except of course, he was having trouble balancing on his knees in the costume and giant egg, and thus was constantly falling over to revel him half hanging out. Wasn't exactly a surprise when the announcer shouted... "Shall we find out what's in the egg kids?". Bloke behind me shouted... "Is it a pi[iss[/ied 6 foot, Robin?"

I'd agree ref Clarkson and Hauraki...but Clarkson seems to be out of favour. He's much better as a starter and has little use as the impact player off the bench. Seems to be just making up the numbers at the moment.
Watkins has looked good on the right wing and Ablett good at right centre....if Smith is to play it would be better to have him at right centre inside Watkins IMO.
If Watkins does play centre I hope it's left centre, with Senior moved to the right.
Forlorn hope, I guess, to see more of Singleton - in place of Kirke (or McShane....who looks good on attack, but still has much to learn on defence). Buderus rules ok.  |
