| I think, in truth, he's a punt for someone. He's had injury problems, before which he frankly looked like he'd been over-played and was a worn out shell of the player he was. It is possible that if the injury is fixed, the break will do him good and he'll come back at something closer to his best. It's a risk, and I'm not sure it's one we should take, but he could turn out very well for someone.

I agree but is Achurch going to play in the props or second row? Have we giving up on signing Taylor from HKR, Wigan appear favourites but no announcement yet.

| I wouldn't touch Fielden he's shot imo and not only that we have a potential future star at Prop in Singleton and we shouldn't be blocking his progress any further.

| Have I missed something? Is it 2005? Why the sudden clamour for Fielden?

Lets hope so injury record over last 2 yrs has been terrible and is coming down the slope would be good at Bradford I'd rather see youngsters in team rather than another over the hill forward

I couldn't agree more regarding Singleton and after watching some of the mediocre performances this season i believe that he could have got 10 games under his belt without a doubt
Regarding Fielden he could still prove to be a very useful player if he is finally clear of his injuries, But just how many sides will be willing to offer a 2 year contract and on very good money too, on a player with too many question marks hanging over him?

| Fielden has been smart with his money and as well as the Subways owns a fair chunk of Hebden Bridge. It wouldn't surprise me if he signed for Bradford for not very much. As a player he's been 50% of himself for years even before his injury and is nowhere near what Leeds should be looking for, but could help bring on what's likely to be a very inexperienced Bulls pack.

I agree and would think Bradford are favourites to sign Fieldon. We do need to give Singleton a run in 2013 but would hope we will also put in a realistic bid for Taylor who I think will enhance our squad.
Also GH has said signing a quality centre is their priority and I hope he's successful.

| Fielden was a very good player, but he was on the slide ever since Willie Mason put him on his backside, before his recent spat of long term injuries. But if we did sign him could you imagine training if he meet his old so call mate Barry Mac.
Seriously we need young forwards and Singleton looks the business and should be given game time, also what about bringing back Luke Burgess he was very good when he played should never had been let go.

Agree with Singleton, get him some game time to ramp up in taking over from JP and KL next year.
Burgess, never going to happen, his remaining brother just headed over to Aus and as said by another poster so has his Mum....Leeds and other clubs would need to offer silly money to bring ANY of them back
Should have made more effor with Amor or just told him he was coming back

As you know there was a rumour a few months ago that we had made a marquee signing of a back from NRL but no name provided. I'd be very surprised if that now happens. For centre the latest rumour is Joel Moon from Salford, still a very good player but not Jamie Lyon, which was never on, but some fans had a spell of wishful thinking! For hooker it all depends on what happens to McShane and Lunt. I would think information on all this including any players leaving will be announced next week.

Fine.
I've just heard that we've signed Mal Meninga and Geoff Toovey.
The voices in my head said so.
Happy?

Great..... just a bit of fun... lets be honest anyone would be surprised to see a big NRL name come here, especially after their massive sponsorship deal with Fox TV. Joel Moon, maybe but again question marks on his commitment and to be honest value over a younger prospect that would be significantly cheaper to give the number 4 shirt to and with Keinhorst on a 3yr deal Leeds should get him game time. Hooker will be the interesting one as Lunt has showed some great form recently and with McShane and Hood in the wings GH and BM have a tough decision there.
