| You mean the Andy Coley who, despite his team being on a warning for repeated infringements in a short space of time, decided to carry on and complete the tackle even though the ball had gone?
Coley has nobody to blame but himself - the binning wasn't for that incident in isolation, even a numpty like you must be able to grasp that concept?
On the Ablett incident, my first thought on initial viewing was that he had hit Tomkins high, but with the shoulder/upper arm (similar to Bailey on Fa'asavalu at Saints). It's clumsy, but the elbow wasn't raised into Tomkins' head and neither was the arm outstretched or swinging (Morley on Robbie Kearns for example).
It's clumsy, it's awkward but not malicious or intentional IMO. If you want to watch it again, do so with the sound off so Stevo's nonsense ramblings about it being some sort of horror challenge worthy of a life ban don't influence your opinions.

You seem to have listened to Stevo more than I have as I take no notic of him ever so I couldnt tell you what his opinion was!!
Your telling me Coleys challenge was that late he had chance to pull out!Hmm
And yes we were on a warning just as you were when JJB gave away a pen for leading with his foot into a tackle!! Again althougth it would have been stupid a yellow surely should have followed??

| If Wigan fans moan this much when they win I dread to think what they'd be like had they lost.

Coley's offence wasn't even a penalty in my view so obviously it can't be a valid sin-binning either.
The warning to Wigan was given out before half-time IIRC which made it look strange when it was followed through by the official. You don't often see that.
How long does a warning last 5 minutes, 10 minutes, longer than that?
When was the warning to Leeds given and when was the next penalty against them awarded?
Had sufficient time passed to get Leeds off the warning?

It was the referees fault for sinbinning Farrell for a late bad challenge. It should never have been sinbinned apparently, despite the rules stating you are, and Leeds conned the ref.
By contrast Ablett is been lambasted for a challenge that wasn't late. It then just comes down to the debatable interpretation of whether it was foul play. Guilty until proven innocent in the pie eaters minds.

It was 5 mins between the warning and the next pen!! Like you say both were never sin binnings but Im not sure how a ref can follow through with 1 warning and not the next!
Ive no idea how long its lasts and Im pretty sure Mr Cummins couldnt tell you either!!! And thats whats making our game look silly IMO. Especially when Albert is allowing players to verbally abuse him and get away with it!!

Have I given my thoughts on the incident? I don't recall posting any? Just because you feel you and other Wigan fans feel your view is correct, does not mean it is.
I have already said above that I have not seen it again to be able to judge. I also don't believe what they see on sky on the night is enough to judge an incident like that.
What is good enough is what the disciplinary panel see, and I will accept whatever it is they decide. What is most relevant though is IA post on the other page.

| 2-3 games??? Is that all?? For fecks sake, that aint gunna be enough to satisfy the baying Weeeeegan mob.
There'll be riots down at Wigan Pier tonight. Pies will be thrown to the ground in disgust.
...and Ablett'll be back for the play offs, first game probably against Weeegan, so they've time to practice their "Booooooooooooooooo" noises
