| It’s been said on here, but the attitude of sangare and I think O’Connor as well, made a big difference to the not being bullied. They don’t take a backwards step. I also think Tet stood up at certain points.
Credit Wellens for realising they should be accountable for their own discipline and that they didn’t react well to certain incidents.

When it was 24-24 with 3 minutes left, to Tetevano’s credit, he shot out and put a cracking hit on Walmsley.
The pack and halves were impressive tonight, I’ll gladly eat my humble pie

| I think this shows that Sezer will only play to his effective best when Leeming isn’t on the field. There styles don’t mix at all. We should stick with O’Connor at 9 for foreseeable, as his D is much stronger anyway.
Can smith great as usual, new signings all stood up and contributed, but I honestly don’t think we would have won the game if Sam Walters didn’t come on - he was outstanding!

| The pack were great tonight as was Sezer. Hugely improved. MacDonald is looking better too. McDonnell went very well, really impressed.
Some of the Saints players and fans were totally classless

| What a great game to watch.
Enjoyed it a lot, but I also enjoyed last week v Hull too. We are clearly an exciting team, as are very off the cuff in our style. Macdonald is a real strike player. Imagine if we can get Newman and Macdonald out there for a period of time.
Main points I want to make is that Tetevano is finally becoming the pack leader we needed. And also O’Connor is so impressive and needs big minutes (at least 60) most weeks. Sezer was allowed to show off his skills, because he knew he was getting consistent ball.

yes i think you might be right - Sezer was great at the end of last season too, and that was when O'Connor was starting as well

Umm, because it wasn’t high? But was a shoulder charge, so should have been a penalty. Was amazed not given, but Welsby’s reaction was pathetic and looked like a schoolboy game. That’s what probably cost you …..

| Bar a couple of early shaky moments and that howler with Austin, Olpherts went well and liked how he got his nose through the line a few times beating the first man.

I've been surprised by how big he is. He's got rock hands at times, but he's a handy ball carrier

| Amazing what your half backs can do when there is a 9 who will give them the ball
