| it was a turgid, poor quality game that showed why we finished bottom 4. a lot of changes needed if we are to improve next season

All we need to do is avoid the floods, SPOTY etc and it will all be OK

They're the minor reasons.Your over looking the major reason of player quality, cut out some dead wood particularly the overseas contingent( i.e if we lose Galloway, Delaney and Achurch and replace them with some quality) then we may go ok next season, otherwise forget it.

| Quite how the South Stand side TJ managed to get a forward pass for the Hall disallowed try I have no idea. May have drifted forward from McGuire due to his momentum being stopped, but on the highlights package doesn't appear to go forward from the hands. The TJ on the other side who was nearer seemed happy with it, as was Bentham and not one of the Hull KR players was complaining.
That's given and it looks a much more comfortable night.

Even with that on the board we were poor mate Burrow offered nothing before his injury & Mags was even worse.
Got away with one last night but some serious re-building needed on/off the pitch.

For what it's worth both teams worked hard but was a lot of ball to ground/touch.walker allgood Larroyer all dropped clangers but Kelly was dire all night.all that mattered was the 2 pts and leeds found a way to win again .just out of interest when do you guys play hudds and is it home or away?think the way it looks at mo we will play our last mini league game versus them and that will decide 3rd/4th'"
The penalty count suggests otherwise.

Agreed - without Chicko it would have been embarrassing.
Imaging what would have happened with Faloon in the 9 shirt.

| We were so lucky that Kelly had a nightmare for them. If they had only converted half the efforts they had in our 20 we'd have been well beaten.
I can't recall having been so deflated by a winning performance.
The only saving grace was our defence.
On that showing after watching Leigh vs Salford yesterday we'll struggle against both of them.
We were bl**dy woeful.

| I look at Cas' squad & think that there are very few players who would improve our squad (Gale is probably the exception) & I look at their current injury situation yet still they can beat the two (alleged) form teams at the top of superleague.
The only difference can then be their coaching compared to ours.
We must beef up our coaching set-up before anything else.
The current contracts mean that wholesale changes can't & won't happen so all that GH can realistically change are the coaches & other backroom staff.
Will that happen? Who knows?

Agree. Anybody still defending our coaching set up needs to be sent to Coventry (or to Spain where the epitome of McDermott acolytes seem to reside)....
Yes we need to desperately retain our 'lucky find' and recruit a decent game controlling HB....but most of all we need a new coaching set up.
