| Quote: Backwoodsman "Slightly off topic, hand on heart how many players in our current squad would be described as top notch players. In my opinion very few, which makes our rebuild programme harder than normal. The home game so called match experience and the clubs off field running of the club, which is excellent ,means quite a few people will still attend in spite of the teams lack lustre performances. Prior to super league a few poor seasons would mean a sharp fall in attendances.'"
Don't you believe it , the matchday experience is poor and if you like a beer it is garbage . More and more supporters are getting fed up with the changes to kick of times and days , our group of five will not renew our season tickets next season .

| I haven't even heard of any possible replacements for Rhyse either. If we're after an out and out kicker only then would be nice to lure someone like Sneyd over unless he's under a big contract. But otherwise.... I dunno...

Interesting, I got the impression from quite a few of my pals who attend with grand kids all was well. Odd occasion if family are visting I splash the cash and go in the North stand ,have a meal and a few drinks. IT’s well organised and in my opinion good value.

To be honest, I think you'd be doing yourself a favour if you did cancel. If i was at your level of epic level of dissallusionment I definitely would.

| The match experience is awful. Rubbish beers and rubbish food. A light show when it isn't dark and a baby race at half time.
I generally go to catch up with friends and family, whilst watching my team. It is nice when we play well but this has been extremely rare for far too long, and I end up leaving disappointed most matches. I will really have to see what our squad looks like before committing to next year.

| The departure of Rhyse Martin should send a stark message to the powers that be at Headingley. There may be a number of factors in Rhyse leaving, money, ambition, a lack of faith in the club etc. The takings will be down in the coffee shops of Headingley when he leaves, and he’d better get used to Maxwell House when he moves to Hull. I wish him well, but I think this is a defining moment for the club and it’s fans when our talismanic goal kicker and one of our best, most consistent players up’s and leaves to Hull.

I think the coffee shops will be fine, I very much doubt he’ll actually move to Hull, I mean you just wouldn’t would you

| When a player leaves it gives us an opportunity to replace them with someone better. Let’s see what IB does, it’s probably his first major test on the playing squad side.

| We have opportunity for next season. We need quota spots and salary cap space to do anything different, and Martin leaving is an opportunity to get someone else who is, in my view, a better fit for what we need/address what we lack.
He's been a very good signing but it's hardly Jamie Peacock leaving us at the peak of his powers is it? Some of you need some time in the sun and a Thai massage.

When Peacock was in his prime we had a superb team. Obviously at the moment we haven’t, so losing Martin is a big blow. The present pack of forwards are poor ,so his departure is devastating . Plus it leaves us without a top class goal kicker. It also sends out the message we can’t or aren’t prepared to keep hold of star players. Get someone else? Not many players around with the all round skills of Martin, plus if any come free they are hardly likely to want to join a mid table side packed with no hopers. As for a Thai massage, never had one, had plenty of Thai meals if that’s any consulation.

I once took my wife on a surprise day out. After heading eastwards along the M62 for quite a while she looked decidedly worried, and when we got past Goole she was threatening to throw herself out of the car Her worst fears were unfounded, and I’ve never seen a more relieved person than when we ended up at a little b and b just on the edge of Spurn Point. Rhyse is settled with his family in North Leeds, and your guess that he’ll remain will almost certainly be the case. He’ll have to save the coffee habit for weekends and days off.

I'm gutted that he's gone, especially because he likely won't take a place on the quota next year. I think everybody's reaction to the news is magnified because of the clubs recent record in recruitment. We basically just don't think they'll get it right. On the plus side, that's exactly why Blease was brought to the club to address. He hasn't shown his hand yet, and he might well have some aces up his sleeve. Can't help thinking that we'll be in a far stronger position re recruitment if Arthur stays.

Funny that a great player indeed Peacock but don't remember him at 97% kick rate you seem to sack off any player who decides to move on goal kickers of his standing are like hens teeth he's been a great servant I wish him well just not when he plays the Rhinos.
