One of the best Aussue props of his era/all time full stop, was a selected for the 86 kangaroos but refused to go for for some reason

JP is the obvious choice. Although not a classic prop he carried the pack every game and must have been a pain to play against.

Danny Ward wasn’t same class but I liked him. Honourable mention for Harvey Howard as entertainment - rubbish hands but legs the size of teenagers and bit of pace too.

It's a shame that Moz never came back to Leeds after his successful stint at the Roosters
as having Moz and Peacock in the same Rhinos side would have been phenomenal
(Didn't Moz allude to the fact that he wanted to return to Leeds but that Hetherington thought that he was past it when he was returning to SL and didn't think that he was worth a 3 or 4 year deal, which Warrington ultimately offered him to sign for them?)

Peacock is without a doubt the best ever prop to play for Leeds IMO
We also signed him when he was out of contract at the Bulls so we didn't even have to pay a transfer fee for him.

In comparison Wigan signed Stuart Fielden and had to pay a £450,000 transfer fee to secure his services.

A friend of mine at game was giving Feather a lot of abuse calling him soft and telling the old man next to him that he should for his he should be a the most intimidated forward and bully on the field considering his size. The old man agreed but then said" hes been a bit of a big softie all his life i should know i'm his grandad "

Hooker in The GB team that last won an Ashes Series in Australia(1970). I saw all 3 matches with Tony featuring well in wins in the last 2 having not played in the first which Aus. won convincingly.

Been watching the game for over 7 decades now and Peacock is the best Leeds prop I have seen.

The game is different now though . The modern game I would say JP . In the 50s we had Don Robinson a regular in the Test team for awhile .in the 20s Joe Thompson. Roy Dickinson who was no mean shakes himself always says Mick Harrison was best he saw . Steve Pitchford too.
