Bookies give their odds on facts, not gut feelings . On paper the Wire have a better side, they finished second and we finished fifth, they stuffed us in the CC final a few weeks ago. So on those facts only the Wire should be the ones to win. But this is sport anything can happen. 2008 World Cup final all the Aussie had to do was turn up, they were the best side ever. Your thoughts on the weekly rounds are probably the same as many at Leeds including the management, and that’s what killing the game. I know you’ll all say its sore grapes on my part, but it isn’t, you’re just looking at the success of the club and think that the club is playing it smart, it’s not. By not playing with the same commitment every week you’re not just short changing your season ticket holders they are spoiling the league by making the weekly rounds almost irrelevant.

For the most part I don't think it's intentional (Huddersfield on the last day apart). But when it comes to the play-offs, it IS the club playing it smart, because we're still one of the best teams around in knock-out football. The coaching and management will be fully aware of the need to improve regular season performances.

I honestly don't think it's Leeds' problem. It's for other sides to make sure that they're matching the rhinos standards so that we can't coast through the regular rounds
