| He's a SO who would benefit from having Sinfield not there.
Same applies to Burrow who has criminally gone backwards over the last 18 months.

| Half back. I think he'd make a great 7 if given regular game time there. Look at Benji at the Tigers. So far this season he has been the best 7 in the NRL IMO.

| Marshall has veered from dreadful to genius - often in the same game - but he is learning.
If Leeds didn't have Burrow or Sinfield I'd play McGuire at first receiver as much as possible, as the more he gets the ball the better - particularly in developing his all-round game. Whether he would wear 6 or 7 is irrelevant.
At the moment Leeds seem to have shedloads of chiefs but no one who is grabbing the game by the scruff of the neck. I'd like to see McGuire and/or Burrow take more responsibility when things aren't going well and go and get the ball, especially near the opposition line.

His decision making when faced with a line of defenders certainly needs to improve. The stop, pirouette, sidestep, fall over combination so beloved of Andrew Dunnemann (and for which Dunnemann used to get massively criticised here while McGuire doesn't) isn't good enough and is creeping back into his game.
The worry about putting him at first receiver right now is that those outside him would see even less ball than they currently do.

'" I do not agree with this at all. Dunemann got criticised because his 'sidestep' was non-existent, and his party trick was getting it at 2nd receiver and running back in towards the ruck. In his time here, attacking wise Dunemann was not half as good as McGuire. Defensivley however he was on par with Gareth Ellis, and when he went to 9 he was a revelation IMO.'" ]

| Slightly OT, but once Smith comes back, would anyone want to See him at Fullback with Webb at centre? Its another variation.

The iron grip of unhappiness tightened like a vice around my body as I realised the true horror of your pathetic post.
Mcguire at centre?
webb at SO?
My heads about to explode.
