We will soon see. Clarke is 24 in November and I’m not sure where the improvement will suddenly come in his game at that age to elevate him to Premier League level. It’s one thing having a good night against an 18 year old stand in right back but a different gig altogether playing against elite and international full backs. Good luck to the lad.

Really solid performance. Rodon, Struijk, Ampadu and Joseph - top drawer. Aaronson lost the ball more times than he'd like, but was superb off the ball.

Spurs media also reporting we're close to signing Manor Solomon from Spurs on loan. If he can stay fit, that's a top signing, prem quality player.

Yeah very classy performance that. Gnonto was brilliant drifting in at 10. Aaronson very good too as were Joseph and the midfield. DJ finish and flick for the first goal were sublime.

Solomon very good player and can play right across the line. Has fitness issues though but gives us depth. We had 4 wingers last year so this is same again. Wonder if Gnonto will go to 10 or we will still look to bring an out n out 10
