Just read an article regarding the signing of Powell from the Wigan chairman. He basically says that the signing of Powell is a "marquee signing for RL" as before traffic was all league players going to RU.

A bit over egging it IMO. Don't think he is a bad signing. It's a gamble but let's be honest union has come and dipped into league to take some of our young prospects with the odd exception, to me signing a 31 yr old with off field issues isn't a marquee moment for the game. Signing a Ben Foden or tuilangi would be but not Powell

If I was a Wigan fan I'd be very alarmed at the amount of players who've left since the announcement that Shaun Wane would be appointed head coach, and during his subsequent reign.

Quite how they are all so positive about the latest news, and subsequent properganda, is beyond me.
