My real issue isn't with Buderus and never has been. It's the OTT praise afforded him by our fans which he hasn't earned (yet) in the Blue and Amber. Not from me anyway. He had a chance at Wembley and blew it.

There's another big game looming and he appears to have blown a chance of participating in that.

He's quickly running out of time to avoid being labelled a disappointment (but not a flop). IMHO of course.

at wembley he was on the back of a hammered pack and nobody stood out.
as for the ban i don't think there was malice and he just got it, slightly, wrong. it was almost textbook.
on one hand i think 1 game ban is fair enough but on the other hand there are far worse things unpunished.
however that shows the amateurish RFL for what they are. we have got away with things in the past too.

i agree with you that i hope diskin really steps up to the mark and he has a brilliant game.
however he will really have to step his game up to do so as, and again its just my opinion, he has been very poor this season

...and the chances of him winning man of match are surely diminished somewhat by the fact he is not permitted to play the full 80 mins on a regular basis. You could ask the same question of Diskin....therefore rather a silly argument.
