| Mik, Tet and Prior are head and shoulders above the rest of the team.
Priority should be persuading Prior to stay another year.
King is interesting.
There’s definitely a useful player in there.
His run from the second half kick off, when he put Fash on his backside was superb.
But he’s trying too hard and makes mistakes.
This is where quality coaching should come in.
After last night I’m now convinced we have to let Hurrel go.
The negative outweighs the positive now.
And both Martin and Mellor are just average.
We should probably also let both Briscoes and both 9’s go!!
Recruitment should go into 6, wing, back row and probably 9.
Bentley, Connor, Trueman and a quality wing and hooker from NRL would do nicely....

Agree. We’ve had so much garbage being played for far too long in recent years. Last season was better but we look really really average again and there’s various reasons behind that from coaching to the players

| Quote: sharky64 "Tom Briscoe at centre is a huge mistake I have no idea why this has happened. We have Broadbent who is a huge talent and instead we are going with a winger. Hurrell shouldn’t be offered a new contract, as much as I like him he just isn’t good enough now and freeing up a quota and marquee spot is more important especially when we have Newman, Broadbent, Sutcliffe, Sutcliffe and moving Handley and him about is a mistake. Gale was completely on his own running it, Sutcliffe doesn’t want to play 6. Dwyer was nowhere aswell and hasn’t been recently, Mellor is over hyped and doesn’t do it for me, I’m not sure what he brings. Front rowers and spot on, big Mik is impressive. Tetevano needs to just step up the intensity when running in but I’m sure that will come. I think King Vuniyayawa is actually coming along nicely, he runs hard and tackles hard, he needs more action though. Mclleland needs a shot and work with Gale but they are both halfbacks really. No one should blame Longy, what has he had to work with? Agar is fine, he’s doing what he can at the minute, when we get a consistent team to work with it will come together. Recruitment is key for a 6, I would go all out for Trueman or Connor. I would bring another front rower in aswell as I’m not sure on Priors stance. Love him to stay. Martin has lost a bit of confidence aswell, I think that could be down to his health but could we improve? His kicking is what we have need for a while as Gale isn’t getting any younger.'"
Tetevano is being played out of position in my opinion. He’s far better at prop where he can just run in with pace at the defensive line. At 13 he’s being asked to do too much ball handling. He’s a unit who can punch holes in the D and get us on a role.

| Gale gets an easy ride on here - he is offering nothing at the moment, his kicking is shambolic and his passing offers no threat. He managed to get Leeming off the field yet his passing isn't great - easy to pass from hand to the next guy. He is supposed to be running the show but he showing little leadership especially going forward. The only bit of real quality was Myler's short pass in the lead up to the last Leeds try.
As for Hurrell - he is two stone over weight - the least he could do is stay fit - needs to be gone at the end of the season. The Leeds threequarters and halves are an embarrassment for a club this size.

| Quote: Mr. Zucchini Head "There is truth in that. I actually thought we were very poor tonight. Only area of our game I was happy with was goal line defence. However, playing the referee is a part of the game in itself. You try to get away with as much as you can. If you put hands on the ball and get away with it then you keep doing that.'"
Infact it cost alot so unsure why they have an issue. The only time we managed to get out of our half we piggy them back up with a stupid penalty. It has to hurt that 9/10 of the teams in SL would have beaten us last night, luckily for us we came up against one that is very badly coached.

Quite bizarre that isn't it. I do actually think there's a good player in Leeming but it needs a better coach to get it out.

| Marty makes some good points in what he is saying.
For me that backline for next week should be:
Myler
Broadbent
Sutcliffe A
Sutcliffe L
Handley
Gale
O`Connor/Leeming
The pack pretty much picks itself.
If Alex Sutcliffe isn`t fit yet I would put Tindall on the wing with Broadbent to centre.
Of course it won`t happen but it would send a message to those who don`t perform that they will lose their place in the team.

| Just logged on and read some of the comments on here. You are an ungrateful bunch of supporters what did you expect. It was the fault of the weather that we were so poor, next week it will be better you wait and see.
After last nights performance its hard to describe what is happening. Agar uses the same excuse every week. If you are finding faults we can sing until the cows come home but you cant make a silk purse out of a sows ear. You can only polish a turd so much. Agar and Long must be down knowing they are trying to coach some players who are either not good enough or dont want to be there. Long was a top quality half back if he cannot get the best out of them then who can. Its the same excuses every week we were dumb, playing dumb rugby, but they never blame themselves. We won the challenge cup last season, the SF against Wigan was the best we had played in 18 months similar to the conditions last night. Since that game we have never got to the same level. Before the game against Wigan for the previous 2 years we never played good rugby. There is no plan other than to recruit players like Mellor, Leeming Dwyer, Briscoe plus others and this is where we end up. Someone somewhere needs a good kick up the backside and start a recruitment policy. Simply expecting supporters to turn up week in and week out and watch that dross is asking too much. when and will it start to get better, this season no, half the team want dropping, put the kids in, they cannot do any worse and lets see at the end of the season. At the moment I would expect Leigh to beat us.
At what stage do we say to the coaching staff enough is enough, do we lose the next 3 games and then say thats it enough when, because it cannot go on much longer.

| Whilst I agree with a lot of what you are saying Brodie I`m not sure who we could get in to coach this season should Agar get the boot.
We have a lot of average players similar to what Leeds United had a couple of years ago.
But a good coach got them to win the Championship and perform above expectations this season.
This season like the seasons before look like more of the same (rebuilding).
We might find another Newman or Gannon but patience is wearing thin as top priority isn`t to find a half back although that would help.
Our priority is to find the equivalent of a Bielsa who has proved that even average players can be coached to perform above expectations.
Agar isn`t that person I`m afraid but it looks like he will be around at least until the end of this year.

| We won the title in 2017 on the back of a superb late run following the horrific cup semi with Hull, and we got the CC last year due to a brilliant game against Wigan, but otherwise since the treble of 2015, the way our side has been allowed to decline is a disgrace. We battled against relegation more often that we haven't (2016, 2018, 2019). But for a dropped pass at Widnes we could have been in the lower division. I honestly don't see any quick fix, but we can't go on like this for too much longer. Fans will stop turning up to watch such utter tripe.
