My point is that the stats fully back up Sinfield's comments regarding JJB in this match. However I am not so sure they back up his choice of Walker over Golding at full back or Sutcliffe at stand off. I rate Walker highly especially in attack but I believe he would be more effective at stand off or even centre. His break that led to Parcell's try was the sort of break a half back makes. |

Whilst he'll be limited by cap etc, it will be very interesting to see how Furner rates a number of players. I can see a few being in for a shock, and rightly so. Whilst Furner no doubt remembers JJB, Ablett and Sinfield, I doubt very much he'll take any account of that when picking a team. He'll probably be amazed that anyone he played with back in 2004 is still going around.

We had a tough start to 2011 partly because our best forward and our 2010 player of the year were both out with knee reconstructs and even when they came back it took months for them to get properly fit. When they did we suddenly started to look pretty good. Didn't we win pretty much every game after the CC final defeat? Last third of the season was fantastic.

I wanted him gone 2013, and I am not one to gloat so will not, but everything I put for the reasons why I wanted him gone have come to fruition, just what I thought would end up the case. We have walked into this eyes wide open, and I am surpirsed so many are shocked to see where we are. I am still convinced we could have had success and a successful long term plan, and never believed the route we went down was correct.

We don't, and I actually don't think we would have won the lot, but I do think we would have won some. But more importantly we would/should have still been on the same path we were on, rather than taken backwards, and that is always what I have voiced. |

Absolutely. This is all that matters, whatever we may argue on this message board.
That said I'm sure it won't be long before Furner's selection and rotation policy comes in for some criticism here  |
