Stevie Ward is that close to a first team shot IMO from what i have seen so far in this seasons U20's, although i believe that he will ultimately be our next 13 and not a 6 as he is presently plying his trade

Still the best academy player that i have seen and at any club in the past 10 years

That's a very big call. I rate Ward highly but John Bateman was certainly better than him in the England game at Leigh. I would throw Matty Russell, Sam Tomkins and Kyle Eastmond if you're talking about a 10 year period. I'd also add Rhys Evans to that list.

I do think Ward will be a 13.

I think we both agree regarding Wards talents Mr Rogues, I guess that only time will tell exactly how good he eventually becomes

OOC dates for players in both ESL and NRL are available. That's when GH earns his money by identifying a player who can provide added quality to the squad where GH in consultation with BMc thinks a position can be strengthened. Ellis is world class and if we sign him will be a bonus as the Rhinos are not under strength in that area but he will still add quality to the team.

No big loss we have adequate cover in the second row/loose position anyway. Would rather we blood our own before looking to sign players.
