in all seriousness hull is one of the most poverty stricken cities in the uk! Where there is poverty there is poor education and high crime rates. That's a universal truth of society worldwide. Sad but true

hes lasted a decade without his comeuppance. Maybe it will never happen. Maybe the dirty thuggish coward only exists in your head

and why are you comparing your number one prop to leeds 3rd or 4th rotation prop?

I’m sure there’s plenty of Hull supporters out there, myself included, that couldn’t stand the site of Mark Calderwood, until he wore the black and white irregular hoops. I know you can’t compare the two in terms of positions, but there ability to irritate opposition fans is comparable. Calderwood has been more then accepted by the Hull fans, in fact, he’s become very popular – I wonder what response Bailey would get in a Hull shirt? Just a thought.

I suppose that's the point - a lot of people on here bang on about the most feared player in SL, then decide he's only a 4th choice prop when it suits. I actually agree that he is a 4th/5th prop (if you include Eastwood) and as 4th/5th props go - he's very hard to beat.

The comparison with Graham was first made by a Leeds fan BTW.

I haven't actually seen much of Leeds on the box this year - have always had something else on, and am really looking forward to the next 2 weeks. 2 big old forward battles coming up for Leeds, should make for great viewing.

There we go, the most talked about and feared man in Super League (TMTAAFMISL) is now being used as a marketing tool by opposition clubs.

Not bad for a prop most fans of other clubs consider to be simply a windy fooker.

You seem to be missing the point that he is being used for that exact reason - the mailshot is intended to appeal to fans who see him as exactly that.

Just been reading a locked thread on the Hull board where Bailey is refered to as

"a degenerate thug and a coward"

a degenerate thug ...this is funny coming from a club who had Andy Dannatt at prop.

a coward...this is also funny coming from a brave warrior hiding behind his/her keyboard.

Quote: Blue 'n Amber "I'm glad at least one Hull fan has the balls to go up against one of their own. Thankyou.'"

Thanks for acknowledging what i was actually trying to say!!

Now i don't like Bailey one little bit but that is my opinion and that is what this forum is here for. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion without having to get in to personal insults and petty name calling... it's not school, it's supposed to be adults chatting about their thoughts on the game and sport and/or supporting their team!!

I'm sure the poster regrets what he/she put about those sad events in Turkey (or at least they should do) and hope they can come and apologise for what was said, but there have been alot of things said both ways which is also out of order!!

Can't we all just be friends and look forwards to a cracking cup tie on Saturday and maybe even share a drink in Parkers afterwards?? (if we win that is.... crowded.gif ) group-hug.gif

I know - the irony. Not many brain cells over there.

I started a thread going down a similar path. The bile that was thrown at Bailey and they have been left with fried egg on their face after the RFL have thrown out the case.

The Most Feared Man In Super League attracts alot of crossed arms from the merry whistle blower. His reputation precedes him.
