Best I've ever felt walking out of a lost match. We bashed them to bits. They still hadn't recovered two weeks later. At half time in that final, I remember Homer Simpson saying to me as the teams went of the field 'Saints are done. They are knackered. They're done.'
He was right.

| I've been finding it quite amusing when people were commentating on fictitious games on Twitter last week and nearly every one seemed to go to golden point and had a ridiculous comeback in it.

thought the same myself, thought they where done at half time in the final as well, new we had them, but never expected to comprehensive blitzing of them in the second half, the most perfect performance 40 minuites in a final by any team ever.

Assuming you mean 1994, I love that they've uploaded the official Leeds tape of it complete with Stuart Duffy presenting. I'd only ever seen the highlights from the BBC commentary online previously.

The 1998 SL semi final is on there too, which is I'm presuming what he means - it was a great game

It was. The Rhinos were relentless. Still gutted that we never took Wigan in the final.

| Yeah, still can't believe Monaghan got away with that. Completely pee-meditated.
Wire would have won that game nowadays as Sinfield would have gone off as per protocol.
Some players would never have recovered after a knock ike that....

IIRC correctly, Sinny was MoM in each of the four games it took to reach and win that title, and was 100% with his kicking. Astonishing performance. When people go on about Farrell and O'Loughlin, I'd like them to show me anything they ever did to compare to what Sir Kev acheived that season..
