No problem, it's all new so can be rather confusing to get the details correct - I wonder if there will be a massive investigation after this is all over to route out companies taking the mick though.

You can almost guarantee that will happen. Which is why us as businesses need to do things as correct as possible. For a start each employee you are claiming for needs entering separately, so you can bet there will be follow ups to those employees to double check that no work took place. Many will be refused I suspect.

I agree, the staff I have furloughed I’ve made it very clear that they can’t do any work, I’ve redirected all their emails and told them to forget about any work until further notice.

Yep same here. I’ve just furloughed half of my department. Under strict instructions not to log on from home. The only time they can is for some keep in touch days but they can’t do any work. Each one carefully registered.
Our work has dropped by approx 70%

This is the busiest I've been for some time. And I haven't even left the house.

A colleague didn’t volunteer and has been furloughed, and now the Boss wants me to take on his work
His workload hasn’t reduced. We are still busy. The boss is taking the p and I dint know how to complain to authorities

Take it as a compliment. He might need you more. Your colleague might also be more vulnerable. That’s the sort of things I considered before deciding on who.

Depends what work you both do I'd guess, and if you can do some of their work, but they can't do yours its straight forward. I'm looking at which production lines in my factories will run dry of supply chain, that will be the trigger for me. Most of my supply chain is UK based, and they are already talking about going back to work if they've been off.
