I think that Houghton is a worthy winner of the MoS award. He epitomises what the award is about.
Having said that I believe either of the other two contenders were would also have been worthy winners.

Who were the 3 nominated? I have avoided all RL since last Wednesday as been busy and didn't get chance to see the semis and the MPG until yesterday. Anyway, BBC made some hint to who the three nominees were - I figured Houghton and Solomona were two. Thinking Gidley was maybe the third..?
