Wondered how long it was going to take until some posters tried playing the role of 'victims'.


They eagerly shoot down anybody who say things like the team needs time, injuries, coach deserves the full season etc.....but they are just realists who are just giving their honest view on things apparently.

When people challenge their views back though they are being "bullied" by "thought police" and have the hypocrisy to say they aren't allowed an opinion on here yet instantly dismiss others view as only based on following the party line.

I thought the penny would have dropped for most of you by now, this is a plan to win EVERYTHING...... Last season we did the treble in the current format, now we are just moving on to a new challenge, I'm not sure yet whether it's the million pound game or top of the qualifiers we're going for this season but by the end of 2017 we will have completed the challenge of winning Everything at the top.

In all honesty, ls28_rhino is right, it's not the losses, it's not the poor displays and sheer mindless stuff we're seeing for me, I can't take a defeat a whole lot easier if we're outplayed by a good performance, but at the minute it just seems so easy. IMO (note that) the 'star players' need to step up, the recruits need to show why they were recruited and we need some direction, I'm happy with giving Mac a chance, but he has to show that he's giving some tactical direction and some coaching, I think our last tackle plays are a great example of this perhaps not currently happening, at the minute it's like there's a team being picked and just being told to go out and play. Sinfield said in an interview last week this is a team built for summer rugby, I'm not sure whether that's just saying the only tactic we have is to get it to our back line on some firm ground and we have to hope they produce something or not, but that's kinda how I take it and highlights there is no real plan. I'll probably get some stick for suggesting that is the case but hey ho!

The SL table doesn't make happy reading for any Yorkshire RL fans at present. We collectively make up half the teams involved yet the best placed non Lanky side comes from Southern France and the only Yorkie thiefdom is the bottom five.

Im not sure who the thought police are in this one, which side they are taking, are they pro or anti McDermott and the squad?

Either way its only 8 games in, can we win 8 or 9 of the next 15? yeah.
Can we win 3 more games than one of Widnes, Saints, Les Catalans, and Hull FC out of the next 22? Yeah probably

Would we even have to be brilliant to do so? not really. Fact is we could lose our games against Wigan, Wire and Saints and still be comfortably challenging for the 4. then if we win 5 or 6 of 8 in the super 8's and sneak in.

15 of 22 is probably what we need to get in the 4. Thats not even brilliant form.

Why haven't the Rhinos fans ever taken to McDermott?

I did tell him to his face that I was disgusted with his comments but Wane just shrugged his shoulders in an arrogant manner and walked away

Just a further point regarding this
I have watched Wigan's academy play the Rhinos at all age groups recently and you have some cracking players coming through like Cameron Smith,Ryan Jones.
Josh Roberts and Ash Golding in the 19's
I like the look of Tom Holroyd, Loui McConell and Owen Trout in the 16's too
So could these players be your next golden generation of players coming through?

Because he proved some of them wrong on a number of occasions and they hate that.

Must be said that plenty like myself got proven wrong by him back in 2011 but haven't minded accepting it, unlike some.

A bit like whenever a poster writes off a player, they'll then jump all over any mistake or poor performance they have to help justify their original opinion.

And it only took 13 years to get them there eh...

This board's full of them mate. There's more knee jerking, dummy spitting and "just being a realist" whiners on here than any other board in sport.
It's made for some pretty hilarious reading come grand final time over the years.

I find it difficult to accept people who call themselves supporters can boo the team off the field. That isn't being a supporter! I'm not suggesting that you shouldn't voice an opinion but stop being spoilt brats and act like grown ups, put things in perspective and get behind your team

So if you are totally unhappy with the team and the performance and have paid your money and given up your time to watch a total load of garbage, how do you voice that opinion at the game?
Are you not more of a supporter that you are willing to boo them off as that shows that you care rather than just shrugging your shoulders and heading home?

Some of our player look like they don't care. The body language during Monday's game from some of them was shocking.
Some of them (in my opinion Hardaker, Cuthbo and JJB) are trying as hard as they can and I think in Hardaker's case maybe too hard but the rest hmmmm

I boo them off the field if they are atrocious. I am not a glory supporter and have been watching them for 30+ years but I expect a certain level of application and attitude. If they give that and lose then we will have been beaten by a better team (or sometimes the odd refereeing blunder) and I go home a bit miffed we lost as I don't like seeing Leeds lose but proud of how they played.
This season there is nothing to be proud of at the moment and the product on the field is poor.

Even the standard of heckling has decreased over the years. In the 80's booing would have been considered the equivalent of today's polite applause.
Proper abuse starts by massing in the car park as the team bus "arrives" and booing before the lads even get their playing kit on. After the game, well that's when ur should really kick off.

Those were the days, and of course the old 'Sack the board..Sack the board...sack the board!!! '
