McShane didn't look quite ready to me when he left on loan. I struggled to see what the fuss was about to be honest.

If a sustained run of games at the slightly lower pressure environment at Widnes (no disrespect intended, but expectations are a little different currently) has fixed that he could be an asset next season.

I also harboured a few suspicions about his attitude. Which may be groundless, but there is always more to being part of a squad than just what we see on the field at the weekend, as much as most folk on here seem to be able to coach a side without seeing what happens on the training pitch. Much as the odd poster seems to think he/she would happily select academy players they've never seen play a game... or have left the club.

He has also played at 13 and done it well.

Agree on the cut out pass, and would also had kicking. But I think Lunt is far more versatile and much better than McShane.

Personally, I think Lunt has been a lot better than given credit for. Has with other players he has been asked to change his game to suit a new style by a coach who is just clueless, but that isn't the players fault. At times you have what Lunt can bring to the table given the opportunity.

He seems to prefer crumbling wrecks and yes-men in the forwards: if he fits either of those descriptions I think you're in with a chance.

Interesting comment from Barrie McDermott in the YEP about next season. Any of the players outside the first team squad who aren't eligible for the new Under 19 competition will be at Hunslet - presumably on dual reg.

I can see a few of the current Under 20s finding their time at Leeds coming to an end.

Pete Smith has said theres quite alot that are leaving the club due to this happening, IE Colton Roche. Pete Smith is trying to collect a list of names leaving from the club. And from what it would seem to me that Brooke Broughton is leaving Warrington Wolves due to the change.

Also, the Jamie Lyon rumour is gaining momentum now, the SLTV guy has just tweeted it.

Someone, somewhere must be peeing themselves starting that one off.
