Begs the question is BJB a winger ??'"
To be fair passing isn't the most pressing attribute for a winger.
I was being a bit tongue-in-cheek, I like BJB. He got a reality check earlier in year, which i said would make him better in the long term, and has more than taken his chances since his arrival back in the team.
When looking at BJB, you have to look at his bond/partnership with Watkins, it f-in works!! Great partnership.

I was thinking more of finishing ability rather than his passing.
He would make a great RU winger with his inclination to kick for the line.

BJB does have good finishing abilities, sometimes makes wrong decisions re kick on.
Think him and Watkins look to be a cracking partnership

It is not a bad thing to have a hunger to score tries...but the lad has to recognise he has not now got that exceptional pace to burn.
I did use the word ' could ' !!
It's 'have' not 'of' by the way
Something he has in common with Zac

He always jabs it in field, for someone to get on the end-of.
His party piece, no doubt.

Patten did well to re-set his body position and quickly track back. Wellens would have been left on the floor.
Surprised no-one has mentioned the BJB pass from dummy half from that PTB, my new-born could distribute swifter!! BJB can't pass but loves to kick on it seems.'"
Bjb break and pass inside to burrow for a try was fine.

| IMO McGuire took the wrong option. It stood out by way of its rarity. I don't reckon he'll ever be as quick as he used to but his all round play is far, far better these days.

I thought his kick whilst running at speed was exquisite and the best piece of individual skill of the whole night. It's good to have that particular skill in your locker to keep defenders guessing, not enough players utilise the kick past opponents nowadays. Anyone can kick a ball, but to weight it like BJB did at Cardiff last season and last night takes some doing. Maybe they could use him down at elland Road.

| Were you at the game NE?
If you had been my recollection is that after the PTB when McGuire was tackled, we whipped the ball to the right, through & past the broken defensive line that McGuire's break had caused allowing Watkins to score easily.
Would the McGuire of old have scored on the break probably; did he panic & throw a speculative pass? No.
Did we score as a result of the break? Yes.
Therefore, in my book, McGuire has no cause to apologise.
Least of all to anybody on here.

| McGuire is class and has been ever since he pulled the shirt on. He has to be up there as one of the top 3 Stand Offs this club has ever had.

I beg to differ about the apology
If we're going to get that picky, why is BJB more likely to knock on at the PTB than Hardaker is to drop a pass?
