Mid-season "test" against a hotch potch of overseas NRL rejects more like. At least that'd be a more accurate moniker to help describe a fixture that definitely should not be recognised as a bona fide international "test". |

On that note, it would be fairly similar to a Barbarians match in "the other code" wouldn't it? I might be wrong, but I don't think players get a test cap for those games. The League equivalent might be a decent idea from a marketing perspective, and give the England side a match together against at least Super League standard opposition, but I think the same rules could apply.

You know its bound to happen. As it goes though, the question is how many players will we miss through this and injuries?
England: Ryan Hall, Danny Mcguire, Rob Burrow? Jamie Peacock, Kevin Sinfield, Kallum Watkins.
Allstars: Danny Buderus, Brett Delaney, Brent Webb.
Injuries could occur on these or other players at any time. |
