Probably because the board used to be so much better than it is now!

It was a shame when those two left, as I always thought they were good contributors to the board.

Same as when Gilder left for quite a spell. I always thought the others would come back eventually.

In what way? When i first joined the board there were a lot of posters who dont post now. It would be interesting to see why they dont.

Yeah but you can't really start a thread asking people why they don't post anymore because as soon as they answer you they don't qualify to post on the thread...

People come and go. Some will be bored of whats happening on here, others will find something better to do (porn, chat roulette, blow their dosh on poker sites/porn sites) the rest can't afford the internets anymoar.

Judging from the above responses it's because L4L no longer posts.

Years ago when I first started reading this board (i did have a different log on that I can't even remember) you could come on here and air your views and generally share opinions, then it got a little childish - and in large parts still is. Too often a thread turns into a p*ssing contest, with people picking up on grammar, spelling and the slightest mistake in a bid to prove that they are somewhat superior.

Hence nowadays I tend to only post now and then about subjects I have a strong view on, or when I've heard something interesting that others might wanna hear.
