| Souths signing Luke would be as much about enticing all the brothers there and the consequent media stories that will help them as his on-field ability. I suspect he could make the grade, although he'd have to work on his mobility, which is the thing Sam possesses in spades.
I have no problem at all with English players going to the NRL. Good luck if it happens.

Luke Burgess has several deficiencies within his game that he urgently needs to remedy His ball retension as he always tries to make a play available, but inevitably the ball more often than not ends up in the oppositions hands
2 His laterall defence is none existant at present, if an attacker runs the angles at him then he's through without even a hand layed on him
Any imminent move to the NRL may be a jump too soon at present for Biffa IMO

No he didn't, did he really?
Gotcha said the comment about ball retention is out of date and simply not true. All you have to do is look at the stats. Then tell me the same thing again.
The comment about laterall defence is a comment made from actually watching the game, and one I don't think can be argued with at present, as it happens.
Dropping the ball often though is a comment without foundation, unless you are living pre 2010. You see the difference?

Ball retention should be easy to sort - all you need is a decent pair of undies.

| Defensive immobility would definitely be exploited in the NRL. It does strike me as being the sort of thing that can be improved on through training though.

| If he does go he could come back to haunt us when he's matured as a prop... the NRL will definately improve him massivley if he was to play regularly but i doubt he'd get many games..

Didn't quite work out that way. Good luck to Luke down under: great move for all of the bros.
We'll probably get them all back in the SL at their "peak" of course... in their 30's according to some on here.

Luke's been at Leeds since he was 16 hasnt he? Wouldnt that have made Sam 14? Was he that highly rated at the time?

| I think the idea of all the brothers living in Sydney is a tad more enticing than having them all play for the same club in England when they wouldn't even have to move house.....

| I saw George and Tom play last year - these guys wouldn't have looked that out of place in an SL team. One of them was better than the other though but for the life of me I couldn't tell you which one it was.
