his positional play was poor last week,but thats what you get playing a full back as a winger

I am not bashing Smith. he hasnt been that bad but I just thought Hall did well when he came in thats all.

Needs to bring the ball in off the wing few more times during games, rather than running the line for 80 mins.

FFS what is Smith thinking, against a decent pack like Wakefields we will be hammered with what we have left.

Could Thackeray not being selected be down to disipline problems off the pitch? Im sure he has had some trouble before in his career. I mean to drop him after hes been in the 17 nearly all year for the last, crucial game seems rather odd, even if he isnt happy with his form in the last couple of games.

Thats what I was thinking too, it can be the only reason i can think of Thackray not being selected, especially with Bailey out as well.

No he hasnt done anything drastically wrong. In fact he was defensively solid v Bradford, and there were much worse culprits v Hull. And the way we played v Bradford and for parts against Hull especially second half we hardly got the ball wide at all. If Smith is selected, I dont have any major issue with that. But I liked Hall, and thought he showed good maturity especially v saints away when he defensively superb.

Thackrey has been shocking the last couple of weeks. In normal circumstances TS would be justified in dropping him. But, given the fact that he has only 1 out and out prop in the 18 his decsion is bordering on the insane.

for what its worth i would select bailey over thackra every time

i have no concerns about taking the selected forwards into the wakefield game, without thackra and bailey

the team selected from this squad will beat wakefield
