Always thought that was a good clean hit until I saw where Rangi's right leg is heading towards

| I was looking down the same line of the ref to it. Rangi Chase ran from near to the touchline to get involved with the tackle, and what looked like to me was not a shoulder charge at all, his shoulder never went anywhere near him, he lifted his elbow straight into his face. As soon as I saw him run accross the line, I could see straight away that he was going to do something stupid!
Chase has been found guilty of this before and he needs to remove it from his game.
The score would probably have looked a bit different if he would have been sent for an early bath!

| Chase was still fired up from the previous big punch up which he instigated and the Hardaker tackle was minutes after that, the guy should have walked but with Tim Roby in the middle there was not much chance of that, the ref was inept.
Ask the Featherstone winger what he thinks of Chase's tackling technique!!!!

| Quote Gotcha="Gotcha"On a dry pitch in sunny conditions, Achurch would have probably ended up with a 10/10 performance.
On a pitch like that and in those conditions, either he is brain dead or he was having a brain fart. Cost us big time with his stupidity. The offloads he tried were never on.
He ran onto the ball hard, and he made yardage, and he should have kept at that, simple.'"
How many time do you think Achurch would have played in conditions like that before?

Regardless though, our inability to hold the ball coming out of our own 20 is what ultimately cost us the game. At 12 all I was thinking this may be a fair result but it wasn't to be and well played Cas. Their aggressiveness is defense for me was a joy to watch and they played the conditions perfectly. Also, alleged brain fart apart, I thought Chase was the best player on the pitch.

| So Hardaker going off is the reason you lost
Get real you lost because you were out muscled by Cas. Even Mr wonderful J peacock had to go off cause he'd had enough. If Chase is guilty he will get a ban simple as that so lets wait and see before calling him a thug etc. He cut you open lots of times and the try he created in the first half was brilliant

I said the same thing after the game. That is his game and maybe a few weeks down the line he may have pulled it in a bit, but I don't blame him at all. He is inexperienced when it comes to playing the game in these conditions. It may be common sense, but we see that at the start of every season. He may have never seen a mud bath like that in his life. He tried hard, put some good hits in and ran the ball up hard. Im looking forward to seeing him on the harder pitches in a month or 2.

| Good to see Basil doing his bit to kiss Tim Roby's backside post game.
Someone needs to tell him it won't be up to Roby whether he loses his star player for the next few games.
I'm entirely expecting "DVD inconclusive as to point of impact - NFA" popping up on the RFL website tomorrow. Being an England international has its privileges at Red Hall.

Unless they have an alternative angle to the one shown on SL Fulltime last night I don't think they will have much of an option to say any different.

| The ref was dire and you got a good share of the calls going your way in the first half. For me chase was man of the match yesterday and wasnt it a leeds player hitting gilmore that started the fight in the first place?
