You're saying Kippax is a place in its own right. So is many areas and villages i have mentioned but still come under Leeds.

Because the conurbation of leeds is a seperate place, several miles away, and has no connection to leeds apart fromin artificial administrative sense.

These artificial can be misleading and bear little or no relation to where a place is, for instance according to the adminastrative boundries for a number of years hull wasnt part of of yorkshire, even though it clearly is and has been for hundreds of years.

Kippax is in Leeds and to all intents and purposes Cas is in Wakefield. Simples.

Well in the area that is boxed off by the M1, M62 and A1 (the 3 roads that surround castleford on that map) only two A roads meet so it shouldt be to hard to work out.

Those artificial boundries where created in the 70's in order to stream line council administration, just because some penpusher in the 70's decided to move a line on the map to save to goverment a few quid you think people stopped being from the places they were born?

I havent created any boundries, the council in the 70's created some artificial ones in order to streamline the bureaucratic process though.
