That was a very impressive performance against a top side.
Joseph and Rutter excellent along with Rodon, Ampadu and Gruev.
Hope Bogle`s injury isn`t a bad one as he looks good at RB.
Meslier worries me as does Struijk other than that a polished performance.

wober was miles better than strjuik. different league.

Wober will be a big asset in this division. Thought Aaronson looked sharp when he came on, he could be a dark horse to go well. Joseph looks razor sharp and Rutter unplayable, he could be class on the right too. Interesting to see if we go for a 10 or a winger.. or both.

Farkes comments on only having a tight budget is a concern though unless that’s mind games

yes it suprised me. rutter is sublime but so wasteful at times

Rodon/Wober combination is a better fit but doubt Farke would drop Struijk.
If it`s true we have a tight budget then something is seriously wrong with the sales we have made plus the RB cash.
I hope it is mind games so we are not having to pay over the odds.
If we don`t spend in the region of 30/40 million this year then I would be concerned.

Every football club has limited resources. Especially, if you're outside of the PL. If you're in the market for anything that involves some form of negotiation, you don't go and tell everyone exactly what you want to buy, or how much you have to spend.
It's also worth pointing out that the RB sponsorship and the Grey money have likely been applied in last year's accounts, not this year's.

The lack transparency is annoying, but if the owners don't think releasing certain information is going to help business, they won't release it.

And that`s my hope JB that we are playing our cards close to our chest and at the same time bringing in the right players at the right figure.
In the Championship just like the PL you can`t get away with a very good set of starting players.
You need half a dozen other quality players as back up such as Rothwell, Wober who I think should be in the starting eleven. 3 more decent signings with what we currently have should be enough for top 3.

Yeah we need 3 more. Graham Smyth saying he expects Leeds to go for another midfielder a right/left back and either a winger or a 10 or maybe both to replace Summerville. Needs doing quickly as a couple of injuries and we will look thin and can’t afford a slow start again
