When the Wane rumour first started going round, I said absolutely no way, we don’t want a die hard Wigan born and bred fan in charge. But having thought about it, this is no time to be making decisions with the heart based on pride. Wane would certainly get them fired up for games and toughen up our defence, this is exactly what we need. He’s already said he’s interested in the job, let’s get him on board.

We need coach who can get them motivated for a quick surge to safety then Sinfield should break this lot up and then some serious rebuilding .

Hes one of the very best coaches out there and certainly the best British coach there is. He wants to talk to Leeds about the job. No brainer for me and should have happened already.

Sinfield is making a huge mistake keeping Agar at the helm, the club needs a huge boost. Wane or indeed someone like Flanagan would do that.

Long-term, I don't think Wane is the answer, but short term, he's exactly what we need.

Really? Personally I'd pick Powell over Wane, given the choice. McDermott has a better record at trophy winning than Wane.

The longer this goes on, the more likely it isn't going to be Wane. Otherwise GH would have picked up the phone by now. Depends how desperate we are though, and how things are going with their #1 target. Lose to London next week and we'll see!

Personally, I think Ian Watson would be a great choice if we want a British coach.
