He's been fairly anonymous in far too many games, I agree. If he's got a deal elsewhere for next season then his seeming lack of motivation is unprofessional, if understandable (not excusing it btw). If he hasn't got anywhere lined up but has been told he's out, then his (lack of) effort is baffling. Sinfield at 7 maybe, though perhaps RS doesn’t feel he's ready for it week in, week out. The team for Wigan may give a clue if Sezer is out.

I can’t remember exactly, but didn’t his time at Huddersfield end in the same way. Ineffectiveness followed by uninterested and finally sitting out with an ‘injury’ I fear we’re following the same pattern.

We're 10 games in and he hasn't shown anything that would lead me to believe he has any interest or inclination to get involved. There's no doubting his pedigree, but his attitude and application leave a lot to be desired.

My main frustration is that in 2015 we would come flying out of the blocks at 100mph and rack up 2-3 tries early doors (obviously a far better side). It is like Rohan has the players meditating pre-match, they come out very chilled, no intensity, no 100mph etc. Would be nice if we came out pumped to start a match even if it doesn't always pay off.

Think first mistake is comparing this bunch to our great sides. We’re unlikely to ever see that again. However the standard of the other big clubs is a lot lower now imho, so we could still win something if we just batten down and stay tough-as a unit (fans included).
A quality mid-season signing would be huge too…..
