He was tough to put down, tackled like a machine and when you were chasing the game was off-loading for fun.
He should be in the England squad if he maintains his form no doubt about it.

Ditto. In Westwood and Harrison you have two superb back rowers. Young Riley should've shown more confidence with a few chances early on but apart from the first 12 and last 10 mins I thought we were very dominant against very good opposition so I was pleased tonight.

| Did Sinfield kick 5 out of 5 tonight?
The majority of them from fairly wide out?
I thought so.

| I rate Harrison.
Bridge was disappointing as was Atkins, though in his defence he seemed to be playing out of position.
What on earth was Briers doing playing for about 5 minutes in hs stocking feet?
Fantastic defensive effort especially without Peacock for almost the entire game.
The pass from Buderus to McGuire that set up the 1st try was absolutely world class.
Pity Hall didn't have the bottle to take Mathers on the outside.
But what a great performance after some of our earlier efforts this season.
Can't wait for the next 2 games.

I'd certainly agree with that. Ran onto the ball purposefully too - well timed running of good lines and at pace.
Westwood is a far smarter player than his reputation or face would imply.

True - what I found noticeable last night was where he tackled - as high as is legally possible. That makes him aggressive and someone the attacker is not going to look forward to running at, mentally as much as physically, but it doesn't concede the penalties because its legal.

| in the past i have said i wouldn't want him at leeds. thats because he was very similer to what we already had,add to that his poor discipline.
he has really improved all aspects of his game, and yes, i would love him here

Similar here. He looked like a bit of a liability at times and I was surprised when he got close to international honours, but I'd say he justified his selection and in the last couple of years has become a far better player. With hindsight, would have done a great job as Ellis's replacement.

| What's with all the loving on here?
We just didnt turn up at all last night, bitterly disappointed.
I honestly thought you struggled a bit when Peacock went off and we didnt take enough chances but Leuleui put his hand up. Really rate him.
Genuinely dont see what you guys see in Bailey, think he's tosh and Senior's still got it. Briers had a stinker both in defence and execution of plays. It won't be the same when you play at our place, I guarantee you that

| Wires had one of their poorer performances on the night, but credit to Leeds who defended very well especially early on when we were putting some pressure on. Overall we had an off day,it happens,it's now history, and I look forward to us thrashing Hudds again next week!
