| its easy to forget we started the season well
apart from the away game at widnes after the WCC all our losses had been in close games plus we had beaten the team everyone expected to be unbeaten [ saints ] away
the second half of the season has just been tragic with injuries and poor play devaluing every ones efforts but for me its between myler and hall

| Its saying something that you'd pick two wingers in the top 3 when neither has scored a lot of tries.

Leeds wingers aren't there to score tries. They are there to be extra forwards. Hall has been our best winger, 2nd row and prop all in one season.

As above. Considering it was Myler’s first season with us, how poor we’ve been, the fact the pack has been so poor and that he’s been playing as the only real half back, he’s done very well.

Sorry, but Parcell has been miles better than either winger. To say not even close is just wrong for me.

Not sure how Tom Briscoe has got into people`s top 3 as for me he has been average at best which admittedly puts him above the majority of the team this year.
But not enough.
Dwyer has gone well this last few weeks but has not done enough to get a top 3 unless you take into account his time at Fev!

Dwyer has been good for half a dozen games only. Remember he was poor as sub 9 and when Parcell got injured Golding looked the better 9. So the players should be judged over the whole season.
Parcell and Singleton are our top tacklers by some margin and our two wingers made easily the most busts, breaks, scored the most tries and played the most minutes despite have little help and Myler was the most creative. These should be shortlisted before the long term injured and the short term bright sparks

| Hall would get it for me. The best of a bad bunch.
Myler started well but has been nothing better than average over the course of the season. That may still be enough to get top 3.

My thoughts too Tad,this kid is so poor defensively at present that it's embarrassing.
I've lost count of the number of times that his opposition centre has got on his outside shoulder this season when he has been left grasping fresh air,or simply left stood in no man's land
I'm only going to name 2 players worthy of any player of the year nominations
1:Ryan Hall
2:clear daylight
3:Richie Myler

| My player of the season?
Tough one...
I think we've not had one player that has consistently been above average but if I had to pick one it would have to be Hall.

| Myler started well but has been playing 6 and 7 behind a beaten pack all season so I have been happy with him but he hasn't been able to shine.
Walker continues to look like a star in the making though he needs managing through these niggling injuries properly.
Dwyer has looked good in patches, again behind a beaten pack and dealing with mcds poor management.
Watkins was looking good but had a bad injury.
Hall takes it for consistency as much as anything. I don't think he has been particularly better this year than any other but in a season where many have not hit the heights they should he has performed well.
