Quote: Fat Boy "One of the worst kick returns I think I've seen in a long time - I can't believe that Keinhorst offers less than Vickery.'"

Simple answer he doesn`t.
I would look at playing Watson and Keinhorst next week either with Hardaker to centre or Keinhorst to centre.
Play Sutcliffe in the halves and if McDermott has to play Burrow put him in at SH with Sinfield to LF.
But I guess he will play Delaney at RC with Vickery retaining his place.
Vickery couldn`t even keep up with Yeaman had as much grunt going forward as a powder puff and his run out of his own line was a disgrace and he should never get another game again.
Kylie looked shagged out due to his stint against Wigan.
Changes please for next week.

No one really seems to know where he has come from or what he is doing here. He has no top level experience and looks like the guy who, when your Sunday league team is short, is brought along to fill in. And is invariably rubbish.

Vickery is I am sure is a very nice person and his mum loves him, BUT HE IS NOT A SUPER LEAGUE PLAYER. I think he would struggle to play for Brighouse Rangers. He must be the worst player to put on the Blue and Amber shirt.

To be fair to him, at least he was one of the players to bother chasing back when Hull made breaks - for the Crooks try he tracked across field and nearly got there, where as all our fellas in the middle of the field didn't even make an attempt to get back - they'd given up on the race before it even started!

Having said that - he's had a shocker with that play! He looked genuinely scared to take the contact, hence trying to run around the whole team....

Echo these sentiments, seems to be out of his depth at this standard ,his confidence must be shot. You have got to ask what any reasonable coach would do with an academy/reserve player that was going through this type of sticky patch, perhaps drop him down a level to regain his confidence?
He reminds me very much of Rex Turp.

I could see what he was trying to do as hulls right hand side had not come up, but he simply didn't have the place to make it which shows pretty poor judgement.
One of the words plays is seen over the years. Not sure he should be dropped given the state of the injuries though

the headingley tea lady hasnt got the pace to be a superleague winger at least not pushing that trolley

My abiding memory from his massive brain fart is virtually the whole of the Leeds fans shouting 'NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!' as he set off running along his own try line in front of a wall of Hull players. By 'eck, I was angry at that point. I was not the only one. Silly boy.

Basic wingman stuff IMO - you pick the ball up behind your own line run as fast as f*ck straight towards the oncoming defense then surrender into the tackle so you're not pushed back behind your line - and I was a second rower!

Yes it was a mistake. He should have run straight and taken the tackle and kept possession. But please put this in perspective. Hall in the same game fumbled the ball and also got driven back over his line. Hall also rushed out of the line and missed a tackle that led to their first try and was slow chasing back. Hall was again slow chasing back after he failed to take Sinfield's kick which led to their 2nd try. As has been already been stated Vickery gave a quicker and better chase back than Hall or Hardaker who although closer gave up. But so much easier to put all the blame onto Vickery than Hall who is also out of nick at the moment.

We can excuse Hall the odd mistake as they can be balanced against his moments of sublime brilliance.

Sh$t springs to mind.
Hall is playing like he has just shat himself and Vickery Shats himself every time he gets the ball.
Having said all that Vickery must be dropped for next week.

Juan -

Hall is a known quantity. I agree by his usual high standards he has been out of sorts recently - not just last night - whereas Vickery has never been in form and shows no sign yet that he ever will be. Not SL standard and hasn't been from day one, in my oft repeated opinion.

This has nothing in particular to do with last night's surrender showing - it's been evident all along and commented on throughout. Size but doesn't know how to use it, no pace, no power, no footwork, no enthusiasm in the chase. Last night Sinfield was prodding kicks down his wing and Vickery never got out of amble mode. It's all been said before and will all be said again if he continues to 'earn' selection.
