Martin Offiah was a once-a-generation talent. Even when he played for Wigan I couldn't help getting some sense of enjoyment from watching him play.
I once got his autograph after a game, Edwards was there and got his pen ready and I just ignored him.
Kids are tw*ts sometimes.
Sorry Shaun!
Bet he cried for days.

| Silly argument. Wonder how many would want Bailey if not already a Leeds player.
Sam Tomkins, Lee Brierley, Ben Westwood ... Would have them all if they enhance the team's chances of winning.

Matt Calland.

Was it? I always had Graeme Bradley down as the offender, could be wrong.

| to many to name who I wouldn't want but Ben Westwood gives 100% and
Graham is a class prop and young Sam a golden talent even though he's from wigan and I admire most players just for playing the game. Yes I have rose tinted glasses, anyone who plays for the Rhinos I like and will support everytime even Ian Kirke.

| Can't recall who it was but Bradley, Calland and Paul all played in that 'four seasons' game in '98 when Harris really burst onto the scene.

Lee Brierley? I remember Mike Brearley, not sure he'd have enhanced the Leeds pack in the seventies though.

Ditto. Conversely I never minded Phil Clurke as a player.

| Quote: El Diablo " He was a dirty get, but he was a win-at-all-costs sort of player, and he did plenty of hard work to make sure he did a lot of winning.

Always considered Edwards to be tough (as in being able to take the punishment coming his way) rather than being dirty himself. Of course people will point to the takle on Clyde at Wembley but that was for me largely out of character and more a desperate, mis-timed act rather than a premeditated, 'I'm going to knock his head off.'

Rhinos rock on: |
|
| To be honest I don't really care whether they're likeable or not provided they do a job on the pitch.

True, but I can categorically confirm that it was Calland (who also scored the only Bulls try that day). My favourite Leeds Bulls game of the SL era, even though it was only a league fixture.

He did have a bit of a flair for high shots to be fair. He was also a right little niggler. Not in a particularly nasty way, more in a spiky, absolute nightmare to play against sort of way.
Motive and intent are notoriously hard to prove, but the Wembley '94 incident didn't look the most accidental to me....
Tough he most certainly was though.

Was that the match at Odsal in the nasty white and red kit when Harris got 3?
One of the niggliest, nastiest, toughest games I can remember in the post-SL days (i.e. after they switched to summer and abolished proper prop forwards with moustaches). We had a nasty pack in '98 and '99. You just don't see many really nasty packs of forwards these days.

| Sam Tomkins is the type of player you would love if he was at your club! A bit like Robbie Savage in terms of football

Worst. Example. Ever.
I'm a Man City fan. I'd be gutted if we signed Robbie Savage.
