To be honest I thought it was a strong defensive game for both teams, but too many mistakes and handling errors with ball in hand.
Hull looked clueless going forward, very little creativity - still think you'll make the playoffs, but Hull have a tough run in and KR could sneak in the 8 leaving FC out of it.

That's probably more likely than anything else.
It's annoying after the shocking performance last week. Harlequins were equally as mediocre under Mcdickweed. When you have a group of players with the ability who only seem to be able to show it in bursts there's only one place to look. |

I think we'll at least see a lot of effort in the Cup next week as well - a lot of players in this team want to win a CC. Whether the quality will be there is another matter.
I would have thought you could only talk about inconsistency if we had played reasonably well more than a handful of times. How many 'good' performances have we actually put in this year? Wigan x 2, Cats and KR at home possibly? If anything, we've been remarkabley consistent, especially against the top sides.

Catalan had all their best players absent in the game at Headingley, so I'd discount that as a good performance from Leeds. |
